what did you make of the interviews? Like the undergraduate helpers?

I'm supposed to be running that scheme so any feedback that you make have for this year would be very grateful.

I finally made it home for the first time since the end of the summer today... the start of term seems like such a long time ago. Its scary to think that by this time next yeah the successful applicants would have already finished their first year in cambridge!

My interviews were ok; not brilliant, but nothing too bad either. *shrugs*
The atmosphere in the Marshall room was pretty good, and the undergrads were friendly.

One interveiw was really terrible and the second one was pretty good, but i honestly dont think i'll be coming to Cambridge, oh well.
I didnt actually see much of the undergrad helpers, but when i did they were really nice friendly and chilled out. I met some really nice people there which is a double bummer for being rejected.

Hey, I applied for SPS, interviews went pretty well, but I'm going over and over all the things I could've said/said wrong, I better get an offere or else I will probably go mad!!

I liked the undergrad helpers, especially some chubby north-england guy studying Land Economy ^_^

His name is Mark Fletcher... former president of the Jesus College students Union lol.

I'm glad people seemed to like the undergrad helpers... its the first year that we have been there so we were quite eager to find out what people thought etc.

Its not worth worrying yourself over all the things you could have said in your interview or what you could have answered differently. Its worth noting that sometimes the way you answer is more important than the answer you give.

Good Luck people and if you have any questions feel free to ask... Not long now 'til you get the results of your interviews!

13th. I made such a silly silly mistake, this girl walked out of her interview with Thompson and started talking about the questions he asked her and I found out there were exactly the same that he asked me so I told her some questions I've been asked and she had the same and we laughed about it... only to find out that the guy next to her had his interview coming up and had to go for a 20 minute "walk" (ie phoning his mommy to ask about the answers) beforehand. ARGH that annoyed me soooo much!!

I completely messed up with Mottier, she's just so nice, I kept babbling and she kept nodding, and I dont think I made myself look very clever, oh well ^_^

oh.. well I should've sucked up to him more then. I first laughed at him for taking the "doss subject" at cambridge and then thought his accent was American! haha
