What are my chances for Econ at UCL?
IGSCE - 4A*, 3A, 2B
Scottish Highers - 5 Band 1 A's(Avg 91%)
Advanced Highers- Aiming for AAA for three traditional subjects.
My school doesn't offer Economics or Applied Maths(Scottish equivalent of Further Maths)
What are my chances?

You don't need Economics and applied maths is rarely taught in Scottish schools.

I'm applying for English!
On a gap year ATM- got my a-levels last summer (A*A*A*) and an A in my EPQ!
Applied last year and didn't get an interview so fingers crossed!

Considering applying to Biochemistry at UCL:

GCSE's: 10 A*s and 2 A's
AS's: ABBB ( but 5 ums in total off 3A's and a B)
A level predictions: AAA

I'm slightly worried they'll increase the offer, has anyone heard of UCL doing that before?

I'm 100% doubting that I'll get a ppe offer from here as there are only like 40 something places. Doubt I'll get Durham or Warwick either, probably end up at Manchester or Exeter but hoping not too. What do you think are my chance honestly please?? (be brutal :frown: )


Unis give out more offers than places because there is a risk of people choosing another one of their 5 choices instead. Basically, chill.

I'm not so sure! I didn't even get an interview last year!
Sure- I got 2As and 5A*s (I wasn't in school for a while so I could only do 7)
