first tooth filling at 28 is that common ?

I am 28 and I have just had my first tooth filling in a back molar tooth. I am devasted , I think the reason is that I have a sweet tooth, but Iots of people I know my age do not have any tooth fillings, my uncle said he did not have any until mid thirties, does anyone else have any tooth fillings who are my age and is common to have a tooth filling at 28?

Are you trolling? I've had several fillings and root canal treatment and I'm 21. You're doing really well. Fillings really aren't a big deal.
