Medicine gap year dilemma

I am currently a freshman studying at a university in the US with Pre-Med. I am an international student here. I plan to apply to medical schools in the UK in the next admission cycle. Will I have to apply as a first year student again? Also, how would the 2 years that I spend here at my uni in the US affect my application? I'd really appreciate some advice.

I think that since you're not a graduate, you'd be applying as an undergraduate. So you'll apply as a first year student and you'll need the required grades for international students ( you can find that out on university websites).
If you're still confused, you could call them up to find out how your situation will be handled.
Good luck. .
