Trapezium rule help

I'm not sure for part i,how I would show the x axis bit mentioned.
I'm also not sure whether the width of the strip is 0.5,or I have to use the equation h=b-a/n.

they tell you to use strips of width 0.5.

the strips have to go between 3 and 5 inclusive on the x axis so you need 4 strips. the leftmost trapezium is actually a triangle ?
