I think those measure would be very drastic, I mean I would have to actually pay this person. And I'm sure that if others found out they'd laugh their heads off and I'd never hear the end of it

I'm not sure what's "drastic" about taking voice coaching lessons - is it any different from taking singing lessons or drama classes? I don't know if you'd have to pay for it, you may be able to get a referral from your GP. But even if you did have to pay would it be that bad. I'd guess you'd find someone for say £30.00 (or less) for a 30 minute session - have a session a month over the course of a year (that's only a pound a day).

The only way someone will find out what you are doing is if you tell them. If someone asks where you are going just tell them you are going to your singing lesson (or make up something else - if you are doing a language just tell people that, they aren't going to be any wiser). If someone comments that your voice has changed, just tell them it must be your singing lessons, or just act surprised ("Has it!?").

The issue is how you want to find a solution. One way is trying to change your voice, another is to leave your voice alone and hit the perceived problem in other ways. Your choice. But doing nothing probably won't achieve what you want.

Oh right it might be because of my teeth, but I am female so man find a feminine voice sexy, but what females find a man with a feminine voice sexy?:s-smilie:

I don't find a man with a feminine voice sexy. However, imo, a whole range of lady voices can be very attractive :h: Also if you look nice no 1 really curr. Some super sexy people have terrible, terrible accents. :wizard:

Yes thank you for the advice I will go and see a specialist.

It started when I hit secondary school, I was always shunned off by boys because of my deep voice.

I would say "I'm sure it isn't that bad, the right guy will think of it as a quirky trait rather than something that spoils their perceived image of you" However I haven't heard your voice nor have I ever been in a situation like this. So instead what I am going to say is just do what ever makes you happy, if that means getting surgery or constantly trying to reach a high pitch while talking, then do it ONLY if you are comfortable with it. It's the guys loss if they can't see past it. I hope this has some form of useful input?
Wth OP....you're a guy tho:s-smilie:

I have a certain dilemma in my life, I am a young teenage female around 18, generally speaking I would say that I was " rather beautiful" maybe a 7 or an 8 out of ten.

Anyway my problem is that when men approach me, at first glance they are attracted to my outer demeanour and find me attractive, but soon as I open my mouth to utter a "hello" there smile quickly fades into oblivion and they make a face of grimace as if to say "GOOD GOD" obviously not out loud.

Because get ready.............. I have the voice of a man.

What do I do how does one make up for this unfortunate characteristic? I have a pretty face but not so pleasing vocal tone.

ahjsdajljbad ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahah im ****ing dead oh my god, TSR HAS OFFFICIALLY ****ED ME OVER

put rice on ur throat, I swear it works.

really curious as to which gender the OP really is

and why they felt the need to lie about it?!
I've always felt kind of sorry for women with deep voices and even moreso, guys with high pitch voices...

I myself am fortunate to be a male and have a voice so deep that I could probably make you orgasm just by humming into your vagina
Caroline Wyatt is that you?

Jokes aside
try and speak in a high pitched voice and i wish you all the luck getting a BF
Surely guys should understand that this thing happens
I have a friend who is a guy but has an extreamly high pitched voice
