CCEA UNIT 4: Causes of the second world war .. need help!

My current past paper question is, "How consistent was German foreign policy in the period 1918 1939?"

But the problem is that the notes my teacher has supplied me with are useless.

Does anyone have a list of the continuity and change between Weimar and Nazi government? or know where I can find one?

It'd be alot of help, thanks

You could argue the point either way. Someone like AJP Taylor argued that there was a consistent underlying nastiness. (The unearthing of Stressemann's private -as opposed to public - diary in the 1960s would suggest this was pausible).
On the other hand, Weimar did seem to want legitimate change to Versailles and to play by the rules of the then system.

Nazi foreign policy was divided. Neuruth (i'm sure I spelt that wrong) wanted to be more moderate and gradual and Ribbentrop wanted to be more radical.

I suggest you pursue these lines. As a final point, Hitler thought the war would start around 1942-43 not 1939.
