IB choices for medicine

Sorry I know this is quite a popular question...

I've currently chosen Biology HL, Chemistry HL and English HL, History SL, French SL and Maths Studies.
I'm unsure about my maths and english, as I'm unsure if Maths SL would be more appropriate for medicine and if English HL is necessary and could be swapped for history or psychology?

Maths SL would be much safer and more appropriate (unless you really really struggle). English, history and psychology are all acceptable HLs because you've already got biology and chemistry. Checking some uni entry requirements might help if you're still unsure. :smile:

Ah right okay, thank you! However, my only hesitation with doing maths SL instead of maths studies is that I've been told that maths studies is so easy to get a 7 in and would be less of a worry when it comes to exam season.
