Changing courses

Hi I was just wondering how easy is it to change courses, say from a science based subject to a social science, but still remain at the same uni (Russell group). Ive applied for a course and over the past few months ive been having serious doubts about it :/ any advice or help is appreciated, thanks

It depends on the courses, the university, the entrance requirements and a whole bunch of other variables.

If you're holding an offer then it's worth contacting your uni now and asking them if it's possible to change (some subjects have a moratorium on transfers while others are much more laid back).

They're the only people who can answer you with any authority - and the worst thing they can say is "no we won't allow it" in which case you at least know where you stand and can make a decision about what to do next.
