    yep
Was it common for people to get full marks on the last question? I'm interested to know. I'm supposing that rigour is what they wanted to test, but I've no idea what could be done other than the obvious, and possibly stating which rules you were applying at each step?

lei, how ugly was your surd for Q3, something involving root 3 seems familiar....

Hmm. I had an excellent first interview - they essentially didn't have anything left to ask me, which was nice. My second interview was relatively horrendous, as I was quite tired and very nervous. I missed the point of a few questions, like one about termperatures on the M25, or somesuch, but I got the combinatorics ones very quickly, and was average on the integration. I was slightly upset with the last question since I gave the right answer, and the professor didn't stop me, so I essentially went off the answer, assuming it was wrong and then was lead back to it. My last interview was ok - I was told to show the limiting case of convergence of "harmonic series". My test was ok - I'm pretty sure I got Q1 mostly correct, and then most of 2-4 - I didn't exactly spend much time on Q5, so I might've done something sloppily by accident. I think/hope I got about 70-80%. Fingers crossed for everyone!

I found the multiple choice section OK, but the rest of the test was an absolute nightmare for me! I didn't even attempt several parts of some questions, and I think I hardly got any full solutions. I made a complete mess of it, and I think that alone is going to ruin any chances of me getting in.

Hello, i thought the test went ok. Multiple choice was alrite but for one/two parts. And the other questions seemed ok. Not too sure about Q5. Either did really well or apallingly. Although my interviews didnt go great.

Anyway fat lot of good the test must have done me . Got the dreaded rejection letter yesterday morning. :indiff:

Gd luck to those still awaiting replies!
