Want to change university course

I have applied, and received offers, for all five of my choices.

Southampton
Queen's Belfast
King's College London
Birmingham
Queen Mary London

I have applied for Politics for all but one of these (for Queen's I applied for PPE). I mulled over what degree course to pick for a lengthy amount of time, finally deciding on Politics, and sending my UCAS form in November.

However, I have long since lamented this decision. The career prospects for Politics are quite bleak, and I think I would be more equipped leaving using university with an LLB qualification.

Anyway, I suppose most of this is immaterial. My main question is this;

How will I go about changing course?

And what is the likelihood of this being successful? I realise it is quite late in the process, but is it too late? Especially for a highly-subscribed course such as Law.

I am relatively happy with my university choices, I would just like to change course.

It would be good to hear from people who have experienced this.

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

Ring each of them and ask.
You could reject all your offers and apply for extra?

In many cases, Law doesn't necessarily equal better prospects. Mostly worse or equal, by the looks of it. The law profession is over-subscribed. Thus, you're left with specific career training but nothing to do with it.

I'm too lazy to do the other two.

As for transfers, it is unlikely to do so to a course as popular as law. My friend (Queen Mary) managed to transfer from English Literature to International Relations however.

The career outcomes for law, except at Oxbridge (and even then) are just as bad. The world of employment is a bleak one for us arts graduates... At least in the short term. Outcomes I suppose, tend to improve slightly in the long-term.

But if money is your motivation, don't study a BA in anything... Well, accept at Oxbridge, where everything-including the useful subjects are curiously BA's.
