Kill The Christians: BBC exposes oppression of Christians in Muslim world

The BBC just aired a shocking expose of the persecution of Christians in the Muslim world. Its called 'Kill The Christians' and You can view it here:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b05rcr7n/this-world-kill-the-christians

What the BBC failed to mention however, is that the Islamic world used to be the Christian world until it was oppressed by wave after wave of Islamic attack. Islam has been persecuting and committing genocide against Christians since the 7th century.

This is not a new phenomenon.

What do you think BBC are trying to achieve here by making this documentary? Demonisation of Islam, Demonisation of Muslims or both?

lol
It's an interesting topic in the world at the moment for various factors, and I doubt it's for demonisation of Islam - the BBC are a bit too liberal.

And on a side note, it's karma really, after the Christian persecution of other religions, the things they've did have been turned back on them.

Christianity became the main religion in the ancient world, not through the sword, but because it was adopted as the state religion of the Roman Empire.

Islam on the other hand was spread almost exclusively through the sword.

Your comment about karma is one if the stupidest and most ignorant comments I've read in a long time. If you believe in karma fir Christians, then you must believe in karma for Muslims too. What do Muslims deserve exactly, given that ther entire history is the history of conquest and jihad against non Muslims. Please, give details.

I do agree what Islam has done is horrible and should pay, but ignoring the thousands of crimes and atrocities committed by the Christian world that have went unanswered for is just as un-just and just attacking Islam all the time is just as ignorant. Both holy books are violent pieces of fiction and have many followers equally as brutal.

That is one of the most disgusting things I have ever read.

Ha, those Christian's deserve a bit of slaughter, rape and enslavement because of their faith because some completely different people at a different time in a different place, who happened to profess the same faith, also did some nasty things. Just like how Holocaust was karma because the Jews killed Jesus or something stupid like that...

I have no words for how awful a person you are.

Islam is the younger religion. Islams entire history is the history of perscuating and wiping out other cultures, Christian culture especially.

It's completely absurd to talk about karma for Christians. The Christians in the Islamic world have been oppressed and perscuated since the 7th century. They are victims.

Yes Christains have committed atrocities but it is not the default position of the religion. Christians always loses to Islam in the end. Why? Because Christianity is a religion founded by an avatar who preached peace and love and turning the other cheek, and Islam was founded by a warlord who preached war, conquest and jihad against non Muslims.

I watched it and it wasn't really anti-Islam. It mentions that ISIS has a particular interpretation of Islam, and that there are Muslims fighting against them, like the Kurds who are mostly Muslim but have a different interpretation of Islam to ISIS. I'd say it was pretty accurate in this area.

It was quite an interesting documentary. You can watch it on Iplayer.

What have Christians in the Middle East today done? They are for the most part innocent civilians. Isn't that a bit like saying British people today are responsible for historic slavery?

True.

Muslims are in denial by default about the underlying evil of their religion because it is forbidden to question it's veracity - end of. If you do you are an outcast or worse. This BBC documentary report has come many years too late. It's a complete joke. Why only now? Disgraceful.

Typical of the mindset of many muslims, always and everywhere victims. Absolute refusal to look at your own actions in the eye.

FYI the vast majority of religious victims in the world are Christian, and mainly the perpetrators are Islamic.
Better deport all Muslims before it is too late.

Take your chances but you will regret it in the future and the result will be deadly.

The tolerant weak people are the one's who are oppressed and killed. Only the strong survive. I'd rather be a bigot and have a future thank you very much.

Crikey, one post in to the thread and the islamophobia card is on the table. Crying foul at every criticism is like antibiotics. You're over using it and it's power is diminishing.
The programme was simply showing what's happening. Perhaps it came as a shock because the BBC are normally such avid supporters of multiculturalism that they bend over backwards to avoid criticism of islam.
The recent refugee boat in Italy .
If you where a gambler would you have bet your money on Christians murdering the Muslims by throwing them overboard or the Muslims murdering the Christians?

The war in Syria and Iraq is basically part of a larger struggle through the middle east between Shia and Sunni (and in the case of IS a particularly brutal form of Sunni Islam). Non Muslims unfortunately get stuck in the middle.

That said even relatively peaceable and progressive Muslim states have a major issue with their treatment of Christians (and Atheists). Look at Malaysia for one example.

Yes, muslims will always win in the end because they have no morals. They are perfectly happy for innocent people to die, just because some silly novel says that's the right thing.

You're 100% correct about the bit in bold.
Kill the Boer said the Jews of South Africa

Kill the Armenian's said the Jews of Turkey

Kill the Russians said Jews in Ukraine

Kill Whitey said the Jews of the world
What about the thousands of muslims being slaughtered in cold blood in the central african republic by christians?

What about the forgotten muslims being burnt alive in their own homes and mosques by extremist buddists in burma?

The 1300+ women, children and men killed by Zionist jews in gaza last year summer?

The crusades, the killing of the native australians, americans and god knows what other natives in the world.

Obama, bush and blairs actions in iraq, afganistan who left thousands dead and the countries unstable till this day.

You need to understand that there are people who think that spilling human blood is cheap in every religion.

>Implying christianity is free from violence
>Disregarding teachings of love and compassion in Islam
