Centre-left at best. There is no way the majority agree to the types of views we heard: scrapping trident, higher taxes, much higher spending.

The majority of people support Labour's policy to increase taxation on the richest to 50%.

There's also overwhelming support for going after tax avoiders, and it seems to be only the parties who want to raise taxes who have the guts to go after tax avoiders.

The audience was synced with current poles.

Farge can expect 14% of the vote so 86% of that audience would not be planning to vote for him.

The 14% in the audience planning to vote for him were just not that load.

That other 86% wasn't the rest of the vote though was it? It was all leftist

Yeah, popularity for that one policy makes everyone left-wing...

Well the only other non-left were Lib-dem (center) and tories (center-right/ right) and their leaders were not present therefore there leaders could not be clapped.

Out of all the audience members who had declared an allegiance to a party, only ONE THIRD leaned towards the political right.
The Ukip leader was roundly booed when he suggested the make-up of the BBC election debate audience was left wing ‘even by the left-wing standards of the BBC.’

Richard Desmond, the owner of the Express, has just donated an incredibly large sum of money to UKIP. Now that has happened, nobody is going to take anything the Express says seriously when its commenting in regard to UKIP. This is as pointless as a Guardian article telling us how Labour are the holy grail and the Tories are satanic.
