The Student Room Group

Ive planned a romantic evening...

So, after much heartbreak, I have found another girl I like!
Not a doctor this time.

The problem is that she has a boyfriend.

So I was all casual like... 'yeh lets just get a bite to eat'

At 8pm, in a restaurant which I won't name here that is actually quite romantic.

It is just 15 minutes from my flat too.

What is the best way to make your intentions clear in a situation like this?

ask her if she knows a good therapist to help you with your life, she'll get the message

Don't be a hater.

Besides I know plenty of good therapists, none of them are pretty.

I would imagine her boyfriend would get the wrong impression and this might potentially damage their relationship

Sure you are ^^
Too many haters on their high horses, not enough good advice. Im disappointed.
Don't do it. You're being a horrible person to both her and her boyfriend if you go through with it. If you've just gotten over someone chances are you can walk away from this situation with hardly any heartbreak, unless you're really clingy.

So you're going to end up buying dinner for a girl who will then go home to her boyfriend.

Playa
Probably tell her you fancy her in the beforehand next time lol.

Don't see why you have a problem with women. You should be able to get some by the mere fact you're a doctor lol.
Does it bother you that it could potentially ruin her relationship?

lol I like your posts, you always post on my threads.

Basically, its not my fault that all the good girls in my age group are taken.

There's no easy way to get them? Its like interviews for good jobs, there's no easy way to get yourself through the door to make your case.

No lol

I mean if she doesn't like me, and just thinks we're good as friends then she will try to split the bill with me, desperately. Just to show that we're just friends...

Because I'm really crap with them. I really am. Ive never held down any meaningful relationship for any good amount of time.

And the good women I meet are all taken.
