Change to migrant worker status - evidence

I am a part-time student under the old tuition fee system and for next academic year, I will apply as a migrant worker (before that, I was an EU national) as I'm working.

I am 25 now - do I still need to show proof of my parents financial income? I am not really in contact with them.

Also, my last year is labelled as full-time study. Can I still apply for the part-time tuition fee grant?

Hi there.

If you're over 25 then you will be classed as independent and we will not need parental details. Some institutions, such as the Open University, will call their courses 'full-time', but they are still actually part-time and you should apply as part-time as normal.
