Second thoughts on chem.eng! not for me
Is it too late to swap courses now or would I have to wait another year :/.

If you get into contact with the admissions at your chosen uni then they may be able to transfer you to another course provided they have spaces and you meet the entry requirements. If you haven't firmed any offers yet you can decline them all and apply through extra for a different course but may have to email them a separate status for your new subject to them because you can't change your personal statement on UCAS anymore. Or you could wait till results day and apply through clearing or adjustment to a different course. There are a lot of options, you don't have to wait till next year
