I'm on the side of freedom. Iran and Saudi Arabia are like Nazi Germany and the USSR. Both totalitarian oppressors. The West sides with one of them (Saudi Arabia), like it sided with the USSR, despite it being just as bad as the other.

You could say soldiers always perform valiantly in whichever wars they fight. So what? What principles are they defending? Soviet soldiers were defending barbaric communist principles, not democratic ones.
