Accommodation if Insurance Choice

Hi, does anyone have any rough idea on what the chances are of getting into catered accommodation at York if I put them as my insurance choice? Thanks in advance.

Hi Bofur,

It's hard to say what your chances are as it really depends on what our firm students opt for.

It's worth applying early to boost your chances. We'll be taking date range into account, so the earlier you apply, the higher priority you will have among other insurance applications.

Even if you don't get a catered room, you can buy a Meals in Advance Deal (MAD) card, which you can use in the Roger Kirk Centre and Vanbrugh to get the same breakfast/evening meals as catered students. More about that here: http://www.york.ac.uk/food-and-bars/mad/
