child nursing help please - former paediatric nurses

Hi,

I haent got into childrens nursing and taking a gap year,

im volunteering on a paediatric ward
on a rainbows group
in a school and nursery
st johns ambulance
and red cross

i have no idea on what to do next help

While people have plenty of experience or no experience it also comes down to your personal statement and your interview score.
Look at writing a very strong personal statement and see how you perform in interviews.
There are plenty of questions on the Internet to help you practice.
Look at applying next year and good luck.
