Aberdeen or Strathclyde?

Hey everyone,
I'm new here. So I have gotten conditional offers from all of my choices. I was looking to studying in Glasgow university, but their conditions are too high for me, so I've chosen University of Strathclyde as my firm choice and Aberdeen as a back-up. Now I'm not so sure if I made a right choice. I really like both universities, maybe Glasgow city is a little more attractive to me. Aberdeen's course is for biochemistry and Strathclyde's is for biochemistry and pharmacology.
I thought that I've made the right decision until I saw that in most places Aberdeen is recognized as a better university than Strathclyde.
It would be really helpful and beneficial if someone could advise me about this. Especially, the students from both universities. What do you think about these universities? Courses? Cities, people?
Thank you in advance.
I've always thought Aberdeen was better than Strathclyde but Strathclyde is better for engineering? But overall I guess Aberdeen is going to be better for biochem, it has a medical school attached. Aberdeen is an ancient uni so it does have a better rep I guess.
Meh. Rankings dont matter when you're comparing unis like aberdeen and strathy. Employers wont know enough about league tables to tell them apart.

City wise, aberdeen is an expensive, grey, depressing dump with nonexistant nightlife. Glasgow is second only to london for shopping and is known to be one of the best cities in the UK for a night out. Its fairly cheap too.

Again, Glasgow is pretty famous for the spirit of the locals and their patter.
Strathclyde's biology and chemistry departments are very good, plus Glasgow is a better city than Aberdeen to live in anyway.
