A-Level Subjects

I am very in medicine and am currently a yr 11 student soon going to college. As I am interested in carrying on medicine, I need some help with what to pick at a level to carry on medicine and increase my chances of getting into medical school. I know I have to do biology and chemistry but what else do I need to do? Also what grades do I need to get into medical school in my A level subjects?

Thanks for all the help:smile:

You need Bio and Chem + two subjects you will do very well in. One Cambridge college requires Maths, and UCL have a slight preference for contrasting subjects. Medicine often requires AAA+.

You'll need a lot of work experience, so I'd personally stay away from subjects with a heavy coursework element (most Art-based subjects and BTECs) to free up time for this work experience.
