Universities for a French degree?

I might be interested in studying French at uni but not French with economics or anything like a lot of the unis I've seen offer, does anyone have any suggestions? (I'm not smart enough for Cambridge or Oxford😂)
Go to this page: http://search.ucas.com/
Search for your course.
Make a shortlist of unis you'd like to go to and then go on uni ranking charts for that course.
I personally do not do French but I am planning on doing German and Russian and i know that Herriot watt and uni of Edinburgh are pretty good for French.
Hope that helps
It depends on where do you live. Do you want to study abroad? Do you want study in a national university? What about the budget? Also remember that to get in to top universities like the ones you mentioned you also need to pay very expensive semester fees.

If you live in America, or interested in studying abroad, try Oregon State University.

State owned university are usually less expensive but still offers quality education

Or La Trobe University http://www.latrobe.edu.au/course.... La Trobe's main university is in Australia.

Again, this is based on my knowledge. I advised you to pay a visit to an education agent, as they are more experienced in this topic.

I wish you all the best!

Once you've made your shortlist, think also about what you would like your course to include. Most language degrees include modules in literature, history, culture of the countries where the language is spoken. Some also include things like linguistics and more vocational modules like translation, TEFL, etc. And look at the entry requirements too.

You don't want to get enthusiastic about a particular uni and discover the course is packed full of stuff you dislike or that they're going to want you to get results that are unrealistic.

I live in England and I think I'd like to study abroad? I'm not sure how I feel about universities outside England really! I won't be going to university for a couple of years, I was just wondering so yeah:smile:
