Due to very special circumstances, I applied to college/uni last year AND am reapplying this year. For the most part, as long as there is no reason for the admissions office to be suspect, they will probably not take the time to contact your teachers. If your grades are good and your essays coherent, they will just view the letter as further verification by an outside source that you are academically qualified for the instituion. DON'T WORRY. Unless of course you have gaping holes on your transcript and exams you failed.
