800 on Maths is good enough for MIT at least :smile:.

Congratulations!
You are fine. Don't stress.

It seems like you're MORE than fine.
I got into Stanford with the equivalent of a 2180.
I also got a 770 in Writing :smile:

Gahh... I can't figure out the new scoring system. My mind is still in the 1600 range. Stupid College Board... changing the scoring system on me.

You're in their range, so your SAT won't make/break you. Stanford rejects ~60% of the 2400 scorers who apply, so there's never a guarantee. :wink:

it's indeed REALLY good. but i know a friend who got a total of 2360 was rejected from Yale, but then another one who got 2130 was admitted to Yale. so, it's probably relative.
SATS =/= A-Levels

An SAT score over a certain number does not guarantee acceptance. It doesn't even necessarily give you a good chance of acceptance. There are many other factors in the admissions process so I think you should worry about your essays and recommendations more than your SATs.
