Best uni to study Korean?

Hello everyone!

I really need some help.

I'm trying to decide between my choices and I honestly can't work out which uni would be best to go to to study Korean. As far as I know there are only 3 places which provide it as a course, SOAS, Sheffield and UCLAN.
Can any current or past students give me their views and experiences?

Personally I would not go to UCLAN unless I had no other choice. I have no idea how good or bad their Korean degree is but the university itself is generally not well regarded. Both Sheffield and SOAS are well respected although SOAS probably has more kudos due to its specialist nature. That said, I think you should look at the degree specifications at SOAS, Sheffield and UCLAN, read the list of compulsory and optional modules and see which degree matches your interests best.
