Which campus do law students usually choose?

The law school is in the Williamson building, which appears to be closest to most of the halls in the City Campus. Would I be correct in assuming most law students live there?

Also, how far is the Farrowfield campus to the Williamson building, either by foot or by bus?

There aren't really any halls where students of a particular course tend to congregate, save for maybe the two halls next to the engineering campus. Most first years tend to live in Fallowfield as it's the social hub of the university, the city halls (and to a lesser extent, Victoria Park) have a reputation for being a bit quiet in comparison.

The Williamson Building is right in the middle of campus so it would take about 10 to 15 minutes to get there by bus.
