*URGENT* If I drop out of uni, will my summer internship be affected?

Really appreciate the help on this one,
First year in a non target. Got a summer internship with a finance institution in Asia (not IB or any thing special).
If I drop out, will it affect the internship?
Internship is all confirmed, arranged etc. If I keep my dropout on the down low, it shouldn't go against me, would it?
No questions about dropping out please, have a plan worked out haha
