It will effect your testosterone levels and reduce the amount of protein your body uses to synthesize muscle gain. Not good, but in moderation it won't pose a huge problem.

I believe Guiness is the best drink for you, Carling and larger is particularly bad, but I wouldnt let training take over your life.

Guinness will more likely give you a hangover, but its nice ;-)
Sometimes when I'm drunk I get really gung-ho about working out, I would pick a dumbbell and clumsily do bicep curls and then look really odd trying to do pressups. Drinking on a friday or saturday should be fine, well it isn't perfect for you but at the end of the day who really cares if you're having a good time and burning the calories in the next morning?
