I believe that would get you the marks. The triangles used and 3D arrangements tend to vary - I'd say use filled in black ones that come of the central carbon like this C< when the bond is protruding from the page ('at' you from a 3D perspective) and a lined one when it's pointing 'away' from you like this C>, exactly like you've done. Hope you see what I mean.

I don't think you have to have it precisely any way as long as it indicates 3D bonds and the correct atoms.

lol thanks sorry bout my crap drawing i was using paint and when i do the isomers in real life i tend to color them in black as long as i get the marks thats all i care about. Cheers.

You have to make sure that the lines point directly to C and not to O or H.
Also if you write CH3 on one side, do not write H3C on the other.
This is what examiners write about these kind of questions in examiner's report.

thanks. Btw i know that the lines go directly to the C not the H but since it was in word i couldnt get accuracy. By the way what do you mean no CH3 on one side and H3C on the other how do u show that it is the mirror image then?
