Can someone please mark my work ( An inspector calls English lit )

Hi, please can someone mark this practice exam so I can check what band I'm in and what I need to add ready for tomorrow! (AQA)

In act 1 of an inspector calls, Mr Birling says “if you don’t come down on these people they’ll soon be asking for the earth”
How does Priestley use the character of Mr Birling to portray ideas about social responsibility?

Through Mr Birling, Priestley allows us to see a character who is selfish and who ignores his social responsibilities. I can see this in act 1 where he says “a man has to make his own way- has to look after himself” which shows him to be a capitalist man in 1912 because he believes he should only “look after himself” and put his own interests before others, and not take any social responsibilities for anyone else, saying that that would makes things “very awkward”. This emphasises to the reader – who would be living in a socialist society as the play was written after the second world war ended and therefore communities were a lot closer-the idiotic attitudes of people when the play was set, before the first world war hit and therefore Priestley uses Mr. Birling to represent the typical capitalist man before attitudes changed,in order to encourage people to seize the opportunity the end of the war had given them to build a better, more caring society.
The idea that the capitalist view of society is wrong is emphasised when Mr. Birling says he “can’t accept any responsibility” for the death of Eva Smith. This shows his ignorance towards the matter as he finds plenty of excuses to try and take the blame from himself such as claiming “it’s my duty to keep labour costs down” which would shock the reader because Mr. Birling is prioritising money and “costs” over the well being of people. Priestley included this in order to show that perhaps social irresponsibility can lead to the destruction of innocent people’s lives. The fact that Mr. Birling sees thiscapitalist behaviour as being his “duty” suggests that for these people, theythought it was their job to “keep” themselves higher up and the lower class further“down” which the audience would see as completely unfair and disrespectful tobeing a community and therefore completely dislike Mr. Birling, especially because this “duty” contributed to the disturbing suicide of lower class Eva Smith. Priestley did this to convey that the conservative idea of making the rich richer and the poor poorer was immoral and lacking in social responsibility, especially as now the war was over in 1945, there was a great desire for social change because class distinctions had been greatly reduced due to war. This lead to the Labour party winning a majority vote over the conservatives in government at the time it was written, so Priestley may have emphasised this unfair idea in order to mock the conservative party after they dramatically lost votes.

Overall, I believe Priestley used Mr Birling as an example of where being socially irresponsible can possibly leave you; causing the suicide of a young woman. This would in turn alert an audience and therefore make them more aware of the consequences of a person only “look(ing) after himself and his own.”
