No probs! Good luck, and well done for choosing the best college
Just got my interview invitation through the post! It was a no brainer choosing Exeter, it was the friendliest and one of the most beautiful colleges I visited (the Fellow's Garden !) and the English faculty seems brilliant, so I've got to agree with you there!

Does anyone know what is going on with the PPE applications at Exeter?

PPE has one of the earliest interview dates...

I've been wondering about the same thing, with increasing levels of paranoia! I love everything I know about Exeter, but I'm still almost (slightly) regretting the choice I made in applying there. Why must they send their replies so late? I'm going to be penniless after paying for my flights on such short notice, provided Exeter wants me. And if they do, they're gonna have to beg after all the trauma they've inflicted. I'm convinced this is the real pre-interview test. They're trying to see who'll manage to stay sane. And I think I'm failing.

Sorry for the double post, BUT:
I have an interview! Apparently they had given the wrong date for the interview on the letter, so I was sent an email confirming my invitation on the 4th. I HAVE AN INTERVIEW FOR PPE! My mood is pure sunshine, ice-cream, math-problems, and general happiness right now. Did anyone else get the same email?

I'm a non-UK applicant too, currently residing in Finland. I received my invitation by post, and it only arrived today, 5 days before I'm required to be in Oxford. Although, gladly for me, the letter had the wrong date, so I was also sent an email yesterday. I would expect to receive the response by snail mail, I believe that's the way Exeter likes to roll. Nevertheless, I wouldn't worry about not receiving the letter yet, since the PhysPhil interviews are still ages from now. I hope you get the interview!

I really like your attitude. Best of success with your other applications and more importantly, life in general!

If you're genuinely concerned, give the college a call. They should have no problems in telling you whether you've received an invitation to interview or not given they're close at hand. The Academic Administrator is honestly not as scary as she might sound on the phone, either.

Sorry to resurrect the thread, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard about PPE yet?

One of my friends received a rejection earlier today, and also told me that she knows someone who received a letter on Friday.

    Exeter graduate accomodation
I was wondering if anyone can give me any information on the differences between Exeter House, Stapeldon House, and the Stapeldon Annex campuses. I have not been able to find any information online (though perhaps I am looking in the wrong place ). Is one necessarily more pleasant to live in than the others? Thanks for your time!

    Re: Exeter graduate accomodation
Stapledon House and the Annexe are reserved for undergraduates. Graduates - if they live in college accommodation - usually live in Exeter House.

Having never been in Exeter House, I can't really comment on what it's like. College seem very proud of it, so I can only assume that it's good, and I'm told by the people who live there that it's really rather nice.

    Also, have you looked here?
