UCAS Personal statement

Is it advisable to copy someones personal statement for UCAS, changing a few things, or will they find out?

Really bad idea - you might think it'll save you time and effort, but UCAS' PS checks are really rigorous and there's a high likelihood you'll be caught. It's called plagarism and it's basically stealing someone else's personal statement that they spent a long time and probably a lot of effort working on so a university would look twice at them, so why should you doss it?

Writing your own PS will make you think hard about the person you want to show the uni and if you have interviews for your course, you will know it and be able to explain things so much better. Please don't take someone else's work just to change the name on it and the order of a few words. It's morally wrong and UCAS will be able to tell when you've taken another PS to use.
