coasts: formation of a landform eg. bar/beach
river: formation of interlocking spurs or meanders (only two which haven't come up so far)
effects of flooding eg. Sudan 2007
tectonics: effects of a volcano/earthquake
formation of hotspot? or plate boundary?
sorry im doing a wasteful world but good luck  !

Thank you
For rivers the formation question will most likely be Waterfalls as oxbow lakes came up last year (in which meanders formation would be required in that answer)
I think that for coastal landscapes the management case studies will appear
For rivers, flooding case studies
For Tectonics, Effect on an earthquake or volcano

Good luck!

How did everyone do?
I think I got an a* but I know I've definitely lost 8 marks from writing the wrong stuff after comparing with other people. And I would only be allowed to lose 5 more after to get an a*
2014 grade boundaries for unit 2 last year was

56/69 a*
50/69 a
44/69 b
And so on..

I'm not sure how I feel about unit 2 - it's either an A/A* (for the safe side, I'm going to say an A)

If I was to get the following (25% each)

Unit 1: Low A (about 37/56)
Unit 2: High A (about 54/69)
Unit 3: Mid A* (about 60/69)
Unit 4 (Coursework): High A* (46/50)

What would I get overall?
A or A*?

Unit 1: 83 UMS
Unit 2: 87 UMS
Unit 3: 97 UMS
Unit 4: 100 UMS

Total UMS: 367 UMS = A*

There's an Edexcel excel marks converter on their site somewhere; I just plugged the scores into that.

Oh amazing!
So these UMS scores are properly accurate then!
Thank you!

Grade boundaries will probably remain the same isn't it?

what did people put for the course of the river? I put middle; there seems to be some debate between middle and upper course

Unfortunately I put lower course :/ so stupid didn't see it was an interlocking spur so I've lost 4 marks already
I also lost one mark on the very first question - I put bar instead of spit
That's another Mark
And I lost 3 marks on watery world
This is marks I'm 100% sure I lost
That's 8 marks I'm sure - I can still get in a* if I only lose 5 more! Ahh!
Rant over
