SOAS Music Reading List

Hi all,

Maybe this is a stupid question, but... How can I find a reading list for my course? I'm keen to get started, but here hasn't been anything in any correspondence so far, and I've googled it without much luck.

If there isn't a general course reading list for Music, could any current students recommend any texts they've found really useful, or really interesting?

Any great music I should really listen to before arriving at SOAS? I've got into some stuff from Mali, but haven't got much further than that yet in terms of specific research!!
