There's nothing wrong with being a teacher.

Actually, teaching is incredibly difficult. It's one of the hardest professions you can do. I'd like to see you teach maths to a load of unruly year 8s

I sense this is a troll post.

Teaching is actually an incredibly hard profession. It's a skill in itself to be able to explain something you already know to someone else without overcomplicating it, which a lot of people are unable to do. It also requires a very solid understanding of your subject in order to help someone else, so the suited person for the job is nothing but a 'talented mathematician'.

What the teacher should have said...

"Because this is a pre-further maths class who don't know about complex numbers"

What I would have said...

"Stop being a smart arse".

I agree. However, just because their chosen route was teaching does not make them any less talented in their subject. It could just be a passion of theirs. Also, imo teaching is definitely not the easy way out.

You mean more likely to grab a golddigger? Seriously though, when you're working as a teacher you'll have much much much more interesting things to talk about. You experience soooo much. No day is the same as a teacher.

Also, to attract more ladies start going to the gym, looking after your health and aiming towards personal goals.

Yes financial stability is attractive but money and high status often on their own talks to the wrong kinds of women. Watch Scarface or Casino for a lesson in that.

If he doesn't know De Moivre's theorem I'm pretty sure he's not that talented at maths.
