Hey,
I am pretty sure that there will be no questions on competitive markets, as this was thoroughly explored in the June 2014 paper. However, on the whole, anything can come up.
Do you have any tips for revision, because i am really worried, and might chop my legs off before the exam??
Please help!!
I don't think i am going to sleep until the exam is over!!!

Thanks in advance!

Employment won't come up I don't think, that was a big topic in June 2014 in Unit 2
But it was also in June 2013
In this economics syllabus, OCR have a tendency to repeat topics that have come up the year before
So I would recommend to revise everything - just wanted to know some predictions people are really sure could potentially come up

Yes i agree with you. Thank you very much man. Are you looking forward to the exam. I am very very very worried about Unit 3, but good luck for tomorrow?
I am 100% sure that there will be a question on demand and supply for unit 1.

Economies of scale is literally purchasing in bulk, right?
And there are 6 types of economics of scale

Risk Bearing
Financial
Marketing
Technological
Managerial
Purchasing

No problem
I actually am excited for the exams tomorrow, think I'll get an a* hopefully
I'm a little scared for unit 3 - But I have a good understanding of the content and how to use the case study to answer questions
Good luck as well! Hope everyone smashes it!
I'm praying the grade boundaries are lower then last year
For an a* in June 2014
It was
50/60 A* Unit 1
52/60 A* Unit 2
68/80 A* Unit 3

mixed opinions on unit 3 as answers are in the stimulus material well to answer most of the questions. I agree it is going to be a long night!
This is how I normally structure my 8:
if it is comparing I normally give an introduction on the topic then give one point for and against always link it to the question I normally get 7 marks as my teacher is adamant not to give 8
hope it helps

8 mark structure that we've been taught

2 reasons for
2 reasons against
Conclusion (your view)
Bam, 8/8! I've always gotten 8

My teacher said don't waste time on intro's, examiners don't want to see it
They want to see you know what you're answering
I guess everyone's been taught differently but I thought I'd let you know

what my teachers have stated is to do a evaluation (why e. g. policy wouldn't work) and 2 analysis paragraphs. I'm so confused lol.

Evaluation is in the conclusion lol
Conclusion is another word to evaluate
And you also give your own opinion
REMEMBER
Always relate your answer to the question
