Student Finance not enough to support me

I applied for student finance and I have sent all my evidence as I am estranged from my parents. My application was finished today. I am getting £9000 for tuition fees and only £3731 for living costs.

I am hopefully going to be living in Huddersfield. £3731 is not enough for me to live on. My brother cant give me any money either.

Is there any way I could get a higher amount as I will need it as I wont even be able to afford accommodation with £3731?

How long ago did you send in your estrangement evidence? It sounds as though this may not have been assessed or accepted yet if you have not been given any maintenance grants.

You may need to call 0300 100 0607 to check if this has been accepted and if any further funding is available to you.

Hi

I sent 1 piece in April and another in the middle of May. I only checked my student finance account because I got a text message saying my evidence had been received so I thought I'd check it.
