Is it unusual for middle aged men to wear braces on their teeth?

Yay or nay ?

For me, it would be unusual because I have never seen a middle aged man with braces but who cares, society's norms should be broken.

Unusual, yes. Problematic? Not at all.

Unusual. I'm assuming you mean 'train tracks'. My dad had braces when he was mid-40s but they were invisilign so no one knew.
Braces are a medical device.

If you have a medical need to wear them , what on earth is the issue?

It is common for people who have had a car crash to have to have their teeth or jaw wired until healing is complete

How do you think that certain film stars get "perfect teeth" magically?

How can you say if something is unusual? And even if it was, so what? Is it unusual for a teenager to not like going clubbing? Yeah, but I don't like going clubbing, so does that mean anything bad in regards to me, no!

It is not usual for middle-aged men to have braces. The vast majority don't. Therefore it is unusual. That doesn't imply bad in any way.

I'm not a dentist, so I have no idea what would be suitable. Have you asked one?

Sledgehammer?
Tricky one. I assume you are contemplating braces for cosmetic reasons?

In which case you will need to steel yourself (terrible pun) and probably feel even more self-conscious having to put up with the guaranteed 'original' jibes which will get rather tiring:

But who the hell cares?

After a while, people won't even notice. It's not as if they will be worn forever more.

Then when they come off in 18 months, your renewed confidence will have been worth the wait.

Go for it.

To be fair, a lot of celebrities have veneers.

If you need braces, just get them OP.

How old are you?
