Exeter accommodation - what halls to apply for?

Hi Exeter is my firm choice and need to apply for halls. Looking at Lafrowda, Cooks Mews, Birks Village and St Davids. Has anyone got any advice? Ideally want a location so it is easy to walk to the sports ground and campus. Have heard some parts are very steep and I play golf so will be carrying golf clubs. Is it hilly from St Davids? Also considered Mardon Halls but am worried I'll get a shared room and I don't want that. Also has anyone had catered that played a lot of sport as worried I would miss meal times.
Seeing as no one else has replied, I'll give this a go.

The University is basically built on a hill. The Sports Centre is at the top of said hill. So no matter what, there'll be some hill walking.
St. Davids is at the bottom of the hill, so would require the most climbing.
Birks would need you to climb Cardiac Hill, which is not a misnomer. You'd probably have to climb this hill from Cook Mews too (I think I know where this is...)
That leaves you with Lafrowda as the least painful.

But accommodation is more than just location...plus I may be a bit late anyway!
