Reducing the loan because of the grant
Hi,
I have just received my eligibility for around £9000 from SFE, around £5000 is through a loan, the other £4000 grant. Am I able to reduce the loan? - as I feel I would have lots of money spare as accommodation is just under £5000 and I feel the rest is lots to live off. Especially if I have a job.

Hi hypnagogictwerk.
You can reduce the loan if you wish so long as nothing has already been paid. You can do so online or by calling 0300 100 0607 and requesting a form be sent to you.
