for anyone who goes to Oxford Brookes: What is there their general attitude to non-attendance? Especially in philosophy and anthropology. How much would you have to miss before they notice/care/kick you out?

I don't know about your course but most lectures and most definitely seminars they take registers. I do know people who had final warnings about their attendance so they are quite hot on it I believe. The odd day here and there is fine its when its weeks you miss. They do threaten to kick people out so be aware of that.
