Scottish Qualifications and UCAS Question

When you do a Higher or Advanced Higher, you get an overall result on your certificate, but your school also gets a band (A band 1, A band 2...).
When applying to UCAS, is your grade band provided on the application?
Do any universities ask for the band?

Many thanks,

Flora

You don't have to supply the band unless a university specifically asks for it, not many do anyway pretty much just Oxbridge and Imperial.

We just put a, b, c, etc....when we sent our UCAS application off.

Cambridge, UCL, Durham and Imperial are the only ones I'm aware of that will make an A1 as part of their offer.

Cambridge specifically sends out an additional form you have to fill out going into more detail about your bands at Higher.

The rest of the unis don't really care too much.
