Arabic and Turkish at SOAS

Does anyone have any experience with the Arabic and Turkish course at SOAS? I am particularly interested in the level of Arabic and Turkish that would be achieved by the end of this course, considering that these are two very challenging, "different" languages. One of my concerns is that I would not become too proficient in Turkish, the second language, and that the time spent on Turkish would "distract" me from reaching the highest level possible in Arabic. Does anyone have experience with this course?
