Question about 24+ loan in regards to my circumstance.

Hi SFE

I will cut a long story short, I have had 3 years of funding from SFE for a Degree I did at university around 2012. I would now like to change careers and go for a BTEC Level 3 at College in a toatally different field to the course I studied at uni. I have not started paying back my loan as I do not earn enough. I will need 2yrs of funding for my course. Am I eligible to apply for a 24+ loan and would I get the 2yrs funding?

We cannot normally fund you for a course that is of a lower level qualification than one you already have. It may be best to contact the 24+ team directly as they are separate from SFE and may have different rules. Their number is 0300 100 0619

Thanks for your reply.. I'm abit confused as isn't the 24+ loan funded by SFE?

SFE and 24+ are two different branches of Student Loans Company.
