What did everyone get for the leaf tissue that uses carbohydrates (or something like that can't remember exactly) and the rate question!?

It wanted the leaf tissue that photosynthesized so (palisade) mesophyll.
It was 38cm over 2.5-1.0hrs so 38cm over 90 mins. I think that was 0.422 on my calculator.
What did you get on the question about movement of blood flow from atrium to ventricle, and ventricle to aorta, and the other one? (letters)

Can you call the pupa stage pupalige or did I just make that up?😂
What is root pressure?!??

I thought it was something lie, where would you insert the carbon14 so I put the phloem, then the rate I got 0.42
I the palisade mesophyll is right tho 😔

I got 0.42!

what did everyone think about the 10 marker questions? I ended up doing the haemoglobin one and literally just writing down anything that I could think of!!

glorious paper

What did people say for what vertebrates had in common but not Chordata as a phylum? I said backbone but thought they were basically the same thing

I said something about the nervous system, the wording of the question really confused me 😐

Yeah same, I thought it was going to be a nasty paper considering that was q2 but it just kinda got better from there 😂

Good luck everyone

One of the biology teachers at my college predicts every year what will come up. This is what they reckon this year, for last minute revision!

2.1
Taxonomy chordata classes
Annelid/Arthropod/insect characteristics and diagrams
Phylogenetic tree

2.2
Leaf structure and adaptations to gas exchange and light absorption
Stomatal opening
Mammalian lung structure and mammalian ventilation
Fish gill structure and adaptation

2.3
Blood pressure distance from heart i.e. increase in total cross sectional surface area
O2 dissociation graph
Water movement pathways across cortex e.g. symplast etc… and casparian strip
Translocation experiments …source/sink cells

2.4
Asexual vs sexual reproduction
Insect life cyles

2.5
Herbivore vs Carnivore dentition and digestion
Carbohydrate/protein/lipid digestion + absorption

2.6
All of it!

Bloody hell! Not bad predictions

i thought it was the phloem since that's what the question was about? :frown: Reckoned it was a tissue so

Made up

I said vertebral column.. what else could it be? :frown:

Also what did people get for two differences for the butterfly Q?
Can someone create an unofficial mark scheme please? I'm sure many people will want it!

Oh thank god I put something else then changed it to that! ah I had that wrong then! Never been good at maths haha!

That's crazy similar to what we got! wish I'd seen this a few hours ago.Has he given you the predictions for the next two? by4 and 5? if so, pleeeeease share!! haha. thanks!

I said it goes from egg to larvae, then to pupa before becoming an adult

On the aveoli question was it blood cells or blood vessels?
Guy what did you lot write for 10 marker, transport of oxygen???
