We'de appreciate a little bit more sympathy for the struggle that makes up our history.
Sure we might look like fiends because we prefer a nice navy tracksuit to a pair of jeans, but it's your fault if you mock us, how could you expect us to not brick you, hit-n-run style from a bus?
We're nice folk at heart, we're Christian you know? We go to church on Easter and Christmas and we only pretend to hate the po-po.
We wear our heart on our sleeve, we've never seen anyone get shanked other than young Steve, but he was a **** anyway, drugged up to his head, it's no bloody wonder that he ended up... Dead.
That's not what we want anyway, we wanna get married, have a couple of kids and nice job with the local bricky 'cause we don't need no welfare state for us to be carried.
We're gonna make it on our own, pay all our taxes and keep on voting labour habitually like the rest of the masses.
Doesn't matter to us because we know how life is, at the bottom of this ****-hole that many call Northern England.
