June 2011 Power efficency question
I have no idea why my method doesn't work and what the mark scheme is actually telling me. I found the useful power by multiplying velocity and force of the rope attached to the rollercoaster, then I divided this by 20/100 which was the efficiency. But the mark scheme used formulas I have never seen before and uses work done instead of power. Please help!
