Jobs for International Law Students

Hi everyone!

I'm from Singapore and have firmed LSE as my option! I was just curious to know of the possibility of getting a job in the legal sector in UK with a big firm (Magic Circle) or even in the business/banking sector with an LSE LLB second upper or first? Or is it really hard and many international students end up not getting jobs there?

I was an international student at SOAS and I finished with an LLB Law with a good upper second. You will likely have trouble finding work, at least I did. In fact, years later I am still trying to make that stupid piece of paper work out.

Most of the internationals I studied with either did more degrees or left. There's too small of a barrier to entering the practice of law and it makes the industry in London less competitive in my opinion.
