Ways to make hair thicker? (shampoos etc.)

Do any of the "thickening shampoos" actually work? Recommend one?

I want to get a new style but it won't work unless it's quite thick
Might sound a bit weird but horse shampoo works! If you google reviews for it you'll see that it works

Lots of shampoos that claim to thicken your hair only coat the strands with something like silicone to give the illusion of fullness. They can make your hair really static and flyaway so I wouldn't recommend them. To make fine hair look thicker you want a blunter cut with fewer layers/lengths.

Thickness shampoos are fake.

Here's a 'secret'.

Heat coconut oil
Rub into hair/scalp
Turn head upside down
Message for 5 mins
Leave oil for an hour at least

Wash off with normal shampoo and condition as normal

This technique thickens and helps hair grow longer.

Also don't use heat products (straighteners, curlers) until the thickness that you desire has been reached.

Towel drying also helps.

It's old. But it works.
