TSR Folding@Home Team
What happened to the old team?
I found a thread inthe TSR archives. Id have thought thered be lots of people on TSR with computer processing power to spare.
Heres the old team http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/...&teamnum=46914
There are actually 5 active CPUs. So would any of those people help me revive this worthy cause?
Also need to find out who the team admin is.
For those who already know what to do, the team id is 46914. I suspect this died out before because computers werent so good back then. But now most pcs can multitask well, so most people wont be put off.

SET UP GUIDE (thx to TeamOCUK)
This is if youd like to use the console client and set it up to use both cores of a dual core pc. It also has tweaks you can do to increase output. If you dont feel comfortable with this, just use the graphical client.

It is crucial that you do not use Team 10 but team 46914.
You will also have to use Fahmon to monitor what is happeing as there is no screensaver to look at.

Finally, if you do this and would at some point in the future remove/pause/stop folding@home. You will ahve to do the following:
- To pause or stop the client, go to start -> run. Then type in services.msc without the quotes. Then find the twi folding@home entries in the list, right-click and stop/pause.
- However, if this is done, the client will restart after rebooting. To prevent this, when right clicking, go to properties and in the "start up" type box, change from automatic to disabled or manual. Manual will require to manually start the client as shown in the above bullet point.

Re: TSR Folding Team?LHC@home (on the odd occasion that there's actually work), Einstein@home and Seti@home.(Original post by ghost101)
You should do one or the other. You lose output doing both.
Out of interest which BOINC project are you doing?
I was under the impression that there was a BOINC version of Folding@home, but apart from a small mention on Wikipedia, I could find no sign of it.
